Blessed are those who trust in Him

 

Hello RCD readers,

Blessed are those who know where to find their joy during troubled times. At peace are those who call on the Lord when they need to quite down their mind. Blessed are those who have forgiven and moved on without holding grudges. Blessed are those who've learned the ability to protect their spirit with healthy reinforced boundaries. 

As the first week for February has gone by I've planned my content and workweek for this month with the intention of finishing ongoing project's and potentially starting with new. I believe the Lord is my shepperd and He carries me through the hectic days. The days where it feels like you're just pushing through. Day's were you just feel like your holding on for dear life. In sense of achieving a milestone. I began this month with the intention of dancing for fun again. Well life be.. in a good way. January was hectic with finishing project's and serving other's by choice. I feel like it's a blesssing to be in a blessed state of your life but even more a blessing to be a blessing for another.  Making the conscious choice to choose other's in January.  I sacrificed my time, I used my talent pro bono and was there for strangers and loved ones in ways I could. And I feel amazing. Tired as hell but amazing. I'm so happy and proud of the people in my life that are achieved milestones. I'm overjoyed and to attentive I would say. From defending their thesis for their master's, to amazing health news, to a new chapter of dance classes, to becoming a first parent time parent, to making a difference for the next generation, to starting a new chapter with a higher position , to relocating their store, to finding finances for new built, and so on. January filled me with joy for other's their accomplishment.

But February hit and back to the grind.

RCD PORTFOLIO 

This year I'll be trying to post more. I'm not a film maker or a real YouTuber. So bare with me I started with scheduling a long overdue RCD project's since 2022. I did this in December 2025 on my Christmas break. I wanted to showcase my work. I did want use client viewing or client reviews for content this year. But yeah.. we'll work with what is possible. And now showcasing my work is possible.

Somewhere in between planning February content and working I've noticed that I've hit 100 subscriber in February.  I'm so happy about it. It took 10 years but yeah. I'm proud of the accomplishment.

February is the month of love/fasting/Chinese new beginnings. 

First of the week started wirh content making. I hope you enjoy it.

The simple recap of the first week

➡️project GT; this week I corrected the drawings and mailed the definitive drawings. 

Now follows the building permit phase when the client's documents are in order. The client asked for design package 2 "ready to built package" including package 3 "full design". 

Our full design package includes; 

- free consultation

- preliminary design which included first sketches with this process in 3D model

- after the approval of the design. In December 2025 I gave the engineer the time to do the concrete calculations and the steel.

- after the definitive drawings were made, followed the splitting of the building phase.  The client needs two sets of drawings because the dream design will be built in 2 phases. 

Our design package includes two important things. Building cost and building description rapport. I've opted to only do building description rapport because he needs not only material but also the transport & labors cost too. For that we need more technical drawings. So that follows now with the building description rapport after that.

This was from a referral of last year act of kindness.  The client wanted 3D model,site visit and building cost. So in January I finished the 3D model for free because that was my January discount and now follows the building cost. The day's went by too fast so I'm starting today with it.

Project B was from my January discount. Yesterday I mailed the 3D model. So today I'll hear if the want further services from me.

This project is in de building permit phase. So the wait continues.

Of course we alwayd have project's with clients that don't respond at all which means i don't work until they do.

➡️collaboration 

As a lot of people know my services also acquire collaboration.  

1) The first is a wood craftsman. My job is making the 3D model and the technical work drawings.

2) Second is from an old client. She wanted the building cost and potential contractors.  I had 1 in mind when I got this project year's ago. And choose him without second guessing. I stand by my choice to give him this person the refferal. Because they had it since the start in 2022. I called them for advice when I was drawing. So when it came close. I knew who I needed to contact. 

Misplaced disappointment 

So when I posted it in January behind the scenes.  A fellow colleague pointed out of not getting work from me and I do get from Him. Because I don't reffer his company. Which is incorrect.  But.. He talked about a client that never wanted me because they found me expensive.  And a project that he actually potentially received but the client was late in actually contacting him. I stopped building on other's promised referrals because I know the chance of it becoming a yes is slim to none. And I'm okay with that.  Because the Lord takes care of me. And He brings the client's I need. 

I'll end this post with "Seek the Lord in every area of your journey because he will be your saviour every time. Nobody can give you that peace but Him".
