Greed | Day in the life RCD

Ecclesiastes 5:10 "Whoever loves money never has enough;
whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income"

Hello RCD readers,

We've survived the 2nd week of January and I survived my first week.

Last week project updates:
I just got a message from a client and no corrections. Which means I can go further with the drawings. The goal is to finish it this week and mail it to my engineer for the calculations.

Project dream
I'm beginning this week with sketching. I starting last weekend. The point is to make tiny houses/dream garden. I want to do this really well. First I have to make sure I finish some work and continue sketching Sunday.

In God we trust | Still praying
Last blog post I prayed for a loved one. And I have to say the operation was a success. Now praying for healing. I'm super calm about everything and just continue praying for healing. We sometimes forget to give thanks when these things happen. We sometimes overlook that these life situations are God's miracles. That it went well. That is a celebration of itself. That they decided to do the operation is also a miracle of itself.  That I feel his presence is a blessing. I couldn't hold back tears driving home Sunday. I thought about the past and about my grandmother. The similarities and it really took me back to how I felt. So I'm hoping and praying for the best. The greed will get you
Friday I got a call and somebody is trying something shady. I can go check it and make a big deal about it. Or leave it to God. I'm choosing leaving it to God. God will make a way and I don't have to stress about it. I've learned over the years that stressing over other's their crooked ways will not do anything to you. Things will always work out how God wants it too. Even if it feels like something bad is going to happen. Trust in Him. Don't get out of character. He is in charge. Nobody else. So if the person continues to choose greed it will not effect me  in a negative way at all.

What has the bible up till now thought me about this? You should be content with what you have. So I'm not judging. I'm not complaining about this. Not my place. But I will say people's greed has shown me they make it harder for themselves.

Try your best to choose what is right and correct
Let's give a example business wise. The moment you choose a client because you think his status will mean a lot of money for you. And you think doing extra for that so called money back. This will and has often backfired for other's. The moment you do things thinking this will speed the process or will be cheaper for you. Not God. Don't blame God. Your own greed will let things backfire for you.

With that being said. Praying for my own faults and hoping that I too stay away from greed. Greed for anything. Materialistic things in life. From certain lifestyle. From money. From certain status. Anything that gets me away from what God says is right. I'm praying to see those slipping (from God's will) warnings. Only option is living by example and being vulnerable enough to bring it to God when you see yourself slipping.
