Build for it | Day in the life RCD

Hello RCD readers,

As it's another early morning. I'm sneezy and have a busy with the dance recitals. Today I just need to put my big girl pants on. I have a project that has started the building phase. I'm so nervous and making excuses with it.

First one I have to finish the building cost first. Life happened and this part is more important so on a Sunday after listening to my boss "mi madre" I double checked all the drawings and printed out everything. This took almost the whole damn day. By Monday everything was done and I was ready to visit to copie shop to bind it as a design rapport. 

Second thing a street has been closed so I have to drive 30min traffic to get to the copy shop. Yes I'm being spoiled and dramatic. I know but I also got really sick Monday.  So I thought Tuesday is my day off. I'll fold all the drawings for Wednesday.  I filled in the forms for the building permit and calculated everything. I'm going to have to change my prices again for building permit cost.

Third thing I have to ask for permission to be able to let my client build above the normal allowed building percentage. That means creating a letter for the approval. And ofcourse it's a first. So I have to figure out this part. And I'm so nervous about this. Building department is kind of not client friendly and can really make you feel like an idiot. Not customer based but more I hate my job vibe so I will be rude to you. 

Fourth thing the overthinking what if. What if they say no. What if the price is higher. What if the client thinks I'm doing too long. What if I made mistakes. So by Wednesday I almost only want to bind the drawings and go home. But I have to remember if you want this you have to do things that scare you. You have be assertive and bold. You have to control your energy. You have to keep showing yourself that you are build for this. 

Entrepreneurship is something you have to be build for. So when you hide you give yourself the opportunity to SELF doubt your ability to do this. Don't ever give yourself the chance to start with self doubt. Enough people around you do that for you free.  Don't be one of them.
