The View
Hello RC Designs readers,
As I wake up early today, I’m making a conscious effort to stay focused on the present. I have an incredibly busy day ahead, but strangely, I’m too happy to stress about it. The "natural" reaction would be to freak out over the mountain of work, but God is providing that clear mindset He always promises.
The Balancing Act: Projects & Patience
First off, let’s talk shop. I’m heading to the building department for the second time this week. We are approaching the two-month mark on one specific project, and while I’ve explained the timeline to my client, impatience is a tricky thing. Sometimes, meddling actually causes things to stagnate, but I’m pushing through. While I’m there, I’ll be checking in on three other projects currently in the permit phase.
On the "New Project" front, April was a whirlwind. I started two new projects, though I unfortunately had to cancel one because the plot wasn't build-ready. For the second, I completed the site visit last week and I’ll be diving into the AutoCAD drawings tonight. Here’s to a smooth design process!
Growth & Creativity
I’m also shifting my content strategy. I’ve decided to lean into the "information route" across social media, focusing on Reels for Instagram. The goal is to connect with new clients directly through helpful, educational posts.
In the studio, things are just as busy. I’m teaching a new ballet dance this week! I’ve found the perfect music, and now I’m searching for the choreography inspiration. I’ll be honest: I still battle those moments of insecurity—worrying that the kids might find the lessons boring. But when that "flesh" starts fighting me, I turn to prayer. All the glory goes to Him, even in my moments of doubt.
Choosing Peace Over "Big" Gestures
An acquaintance asked me what I’m doing tomorrow, suggesting a "coffee box" celebration as if that were my default. But the truth is, I don’t feel the need for anything grand. I want to celebrate with the people who truly show me love and take care of me.
I don’t hold grudges, but I’ve learned to accept where I stand in people’s lives. We are far too grown for games; I know my place, I stay polite, and I protect my peace.
The View from Here
I have been so deeply blessed this month. I see His work everywhere. So many of my goals are being checked off the list, not by my power, but because of God’s glory. My only job is to do my part and remain faithful.
I’m ending this post with a smile on my face, a heart full of love, and a profound belief in the miracles and answered prayers I’ve witnessed lately.
Keep building, keep dancing, and keep seeing the light
