Our Monday "Tip of the week"

This month we'll talk about  COVID rules for anybody who is trying to build during this pandemic in Suriname.These tips are simple but very important for both parties to be safe.
Tip 2:
The site visit

Recap of tip 1 : The first consult

The site visit should always be done with the designer himself.  Here are some tips on how to interact during this visit.

  • Always call to learn the designer or contractors COVID guidelines
  • Only use designer or contractors that keep the COVID guidelines in tact.
  • Both parties should wear their masks
  • No handshakes, hugs etc during greeting
  • Always keep 1.5m-2m distance from each other
  • Both parties should wash their hands before the inspection begins at least 20seconds.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
  • Use single-use hand towels or paper towels for drying hands so guests do not share a towel.
  • Make sure to have a garbage container to throw the used paper towel in hands sight.
  • Both parties should maintain a social distance of 6 feet or from the walls
  • All touches surfaces should be cleaned.
  • If the consult continues after the inspection make sure to go outside to continue the conversation.
