RCD Project 05 | WORKDRAWINGS HAIR SALON

 

Hello RCD readers,

Today I'll discus my 5th RCD project. This was a project from a discount. 

Backstory:

This project is not built yet. The client wants to make sure she gets the finances to make this a reality. So this were work drawings with the potential of maybe becoming the real deal.

First online consult:

The client wanted a design a hair salon with nail salon from an old garage. Of course my first concepts were really out their. Because I love make designs for start up companies and lighting a fire on somebody's dream.

Her wishes (*my input of what a hair salon needs)

• washing area
• nail salon area (*later was removed)
• bathroom with toilet 
• cash register corner
• **hair styling area (inspirational pictures helped me remember the appropriate layout, so this was added)
• sales corner (I applied it because she discussed selling products)
• **hair supply corner 
• waiting area ( I applied because we had not discussed that but it's a must for a better functional flow)
• kitchenette (*later her 2nd input)

After the looking for inspiration. I started making different possible sketches. The client had a couple of favorite layout concepts.
