The Holy Spirit | Day in the life RCD
Hello RCD readers,
Today as I'm waiting for the sun the come up to start working. I'm thinking about the diaken speech about God not leaving us alone. And leaving the Holy spirit. As I was in church with a gum aches and not able to sing nor speak during church service. And praying for the pain to go away. I put my focus on the word of God during this service more. When he spoke about the crucifixion, the going to hell, the rising from the death and the leaving us to go back to the heavens. The most important thing was Jesus kept His word and gave us the Holy Spirit. For where the children of God are. For where the believers in God are. There and only there the Holy spirit will come.
Now this is hardest thing to explain to a child who is learning about God. But much harder for myselt to grasp what God wants from me in this setting. It's the discussion of the day. I asked a friend if she even thought about that part. By asking God " Am I doing it right? Is this what you want from me". She changed the subject mostly because she is in to deep with everything. From the bible study groups, to joining church choir, to the clothing, to the preference in partners now, to the reading the bible, to the baptizing again. It's her loving free character to go all in. And me overthink every steps. And having to be mentally ready for my stubborn booty to budge.
Are we doing it right ? Two very different ways of having a relationship with God. And we never judged or said to each other our way is better. But it those make me think. God are we both doing it good. Are you happy with us?
In a way I know the asking is totally incorrect. In the sense that God loves us eather way. Even when we fall back into old habits. He is not like us humans that will say " you are so wrong. You have turned a new leaf and still so easy to go into your old ungodly ways". He will always show grace and He will always give us love. Because God is love.
Now getting back on topic. The Holy Spirit is with the ones who believe. Which means His presence is with us. We ask for this and God will always deliver that to us immediately.
Now for my non believers or anybody who is still learning more about this. ( as am I; I don't know everything but that's the beauty of it all). Read the informative side of learning what the Holy Spirit means.
