This month we'll talk about how building permits in Suriname.This is for clients who need a building permit.
Tip 2:
Filling in the building permit application

1) Know the personal information for the application Information:
- Personal information of the contractor (aannemer)
- Personal information of the client
- Personal information of the architectural draftsman (bouwkundig tekenaar)
- Personal information of the constructor (constructeur)
2) Know the state of the state of the piece of land:
- property plot (eigendom)
- lease purchase plot (huurkoop)
- leasehold plot (erfpacht)
- land lease plot (grondhuur)
3) Know the nature of the work:
- new construction
- extension
IMPORTANT:
- The architectural draftsman registration number.
- Don't forget to put your full name on their check list and place signature for deliver, receive and on building permit application form as submitter
4) Know the destination of the work:
- residential building (woonhuis)
- fence (schutting)
- business premises (zakenpand)
- others
5) Know the site information:
- Building address (street name + B.R.no)
- Site designation from the (perceelaanduiding van perceelkaart/hypothecair uittreksel)
6) Know the building construction information:
- Construction area (m2)
- The civil servant will calculate the layout area of the building and the construction estimate of the building
- The civil servant will also calculate construction tax and any other costs that are needed for the building permit
- The used building material (solid wood, stone, and steel)
