Tip 1:
Building permit procedure
(with COVID 19 safety rules)
Because of COVID 19 the Ministry of Public Works has changed their procedure. The first important question is "What was the asking the building permit procedure?"
The first visit to Ministry of Public Works:
- The normal COVID 19 rules should be kept inside the building. Check link below for advice
- The opening days (up till Monday June 1st 2020) are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 o'clock.
- The architect, building contractor or client self can go to the construction and home supervision department on the 2nd floor.
- For safety don't go into the office. Just knock and someone will come assist you.
- Give the necessary forms etc to the civil servant.
- Fill in government application (building permit application)form. (two fold)
- The civil servant will check if all your papers are in order and if you have any mistakes. And if there aren't any mistakes step 7 continues.
- The civil servant will calculate the construction tax for the building permit. The cost are one-off. This will be placed on the building permit application.
- The given amount is paid at the cash register of the ground floor.
- After getting a receipt from financial personnel repeat 3 & 4 .
- The civil servant will write a receipt and also give you a receipt number.
- Make sure all the necessary forms are given to the civil servant.
- Call after a week 464101 and pass on your number to the operator. After this you'll hear if you have additions, if you have approval or last which department your documents are.
New COVID 19 procedure:
- The necessary documents and drawings etc will go to construction department than drawing department and last head of construction and home supervision.
- And than a civil servant will call you for the additions. '
- If all corrections have been made you have to bring them back to the construction and home supervision department on the 2nd floor.
- A civil servant will call you if the building permit is ready.
