RCD Project 03 | 3D INTERIOR LAUNDRY DESIGN

 

Hello RCD readers,

The beginning

This is follow-up from last RCD project blog post. So I had a big insecurity writing this blog post because I thought who wants to see this a laundry room. Laundry room designs are not common in Suriname to talk about.  People are still learning what this profession is and what we actually can provide. 

This project is a simple laundry concept. I measured the same day as the site visit of the  kitchen. The room had already pipelines and electricity lines. This meant I had to think about that when designing

She had already bought some appliances. Like the washing machine and dryer. And the pipelines for a wash table were already placed. That meant I didn't have a lot of wiggle room in designing.  I did love the challenge though. Because I had to figure the dimensions that were possible. She also wanted an unconventional boiler that isn't usually bought in Suriname.  

I kept it simple. I creating enough top space for storage with the washing , dryer , window and boiler in mind.
