This Throwback Thursday I'm discussing "3D model of an existing house". This project is from September 2016 and this was pro-bono.

This pro-bono project was making a 3D design for a refurbishment of an existing house under renovation.

 

The purpose of this service:

3D designs have different purposes. The following are the main reason why 3D model is asked by clients;

1. 2D model or technical drawing are hard to understand and read for people with little to no experience in this.
2. The client want to see the interior and exterior possibility
3. 3D model is an amazing way to visualize the chosen dimensions or design

Site visit:

During the site visit the layout of the current house was sketched. We'd discussed the renovation point plus the spaces functions.

Preliminary and Definitive design:

This project went smoothly because the communication with the client went smoothly.

Step 1

Firstly, the existing house is measured and a sketch is made of the existing house.

Step 2 

A sketch of the first redesign follows below. The first room layout of the existing house.

Step 3

After discussion with the customer, a final sketch is made. The second room layout of the existing house.

Step 4

Following is an existing house drawing in 3D model. We also look at what the indicated colors of the customer will look like in a 3D model. This is the first 3D model in view of "color scheme" in collaboration with the customer. 

 

Step 5

The next step is to furnish the house in a 3D model (in view of important points that the customer wants).
