PROJECT UPDATE 1
This is the second project update for this month. I'll discuss my freelance project.
I've been busy with making the definitive drawings. Last week I was stuck with the roof design. My planning was to finish the technical drawings in 5 days but of course other projects needed my time too. So when I thought finish quickly I got a head scratch-er.
It was Wednesday when I got stuck because making a gable roof combination. If it was a hip roof I would've been finished by now.
My "big sis" / former fellow student plus good friend helped me directly. She was nice enough to draw it out gable plus hip roof with a tip to draw in 3D. She is always their for me. So I tried it on the day that I could finally work again and that was Saturday.
And it helped. I feel hopeful of my end results. So entire Saturday I made the details. But of course AutoCAD was being an ass again. My traditional settings was gone plus some measuring easy hacks weren't installed anymore. Which meant that I made roof details mistakes.
And Sunday when I finally tried to finish my work. Shit hit the fan with me seeing all my mishaps.
I'd decided to work on it yesterday. And take a break on Sunday.
PROJECT UPDATE 2
My second ongoing project is in the last phase of my services. I'm busy with getting the building permit. Last week I got the drawings after waiting 5 months. So I was really pushing myself to be fast with the corrections. I am proud that I actually don't have architectural corrections and more construction corrections. Thursday I check the corrections and looked for the digital drawings and contacted my concrete contractor. He finished the corrections by Saturday.
So yesterday I finished the corrections in one day. I woke up at 4 o'clock.
- printed the concrete constructors corrections
- make a checklist of the correction
- correct the technical drawings
- print out all the new technical drawings
And today I'm binding the technical drawings and going back to the building department.
PROJECT UPDATE 3
I have to start with sketching. After field work I'm going to make two layout. I'm really overdue with this project. But I'm not inspired entirely.
